"My biggest struggle was practicing yoga as a Christian. I would often battle negative thoughts or feel like I was sinning against God if I chose to practice yoga or another format that was inspired by yoga poses. This course, particularly the portion ‘Should Christians Do Yoga?’ helped me to understand the meaning of yoga (yoking breath and movement) and how it can be used as a spiritual discipline, just like prayer, to draw closer to God; giving us an opportunity to honor God, our bodies, and hearts."
